Venture was named 2006 Top Fifty Mini Paintings Winner in the “Paint America National Contest;” won First Place for his Idaho Bluebird design for Idaho license plates; was the First Place winner in “Boise River Festival Contest;” has won five awards with Ducks Unlimited of Idaho and Oregon; won the Western Idaho Fair Purchase Award; and was juried into the Boise Art Museum’s traveling art exhibit and the “Idaho Paints Idaho” show.

You can enjoy Venture’s work in many corporate collections including United Heritage Life Insurance, Blue Cross of Idaho, Key Bank, Idaho Independent Bank, Ameritel Inns, St. Luke’s Medical Centers, Albertson’s Inc., Boise Heart Clinic, The Arid Club, Boise, and many private collections.

Venture was the featured artist in the September/October 2008 issue of Skywest magazine with an article titled, “Painting the Beauty of the West.”

Venture worked for 15 years as a commercial artist for Albertson’s, Inc. Besides being a full-time artist, Venture also enjoys teaching art classes at his local studio.
