artist submissions
Galerie Belle Ame is committed to our artist relationships and we carefully jury each new submission. We are interested in seeing new and recognized talent which we can successfully market to our collectors.
Submissions are preferred by mail. Walk-in submissions are by appointment only. All materials should be placed in a singular folder/file, please mark the envelope “Artist Submission” and mail to the gallery.
Provide the following information:
- Cover Letter
Include: Artist statement, history of your career, current marketing approaches, contact information and any other pertinent information. - Biography
Include: Awards, exhibitions, memberships, invitational shows, collections and literature. - Photographs of Artwork
Include: Color print outs of artwork (minimum 10 works) and or CD with images of artwork labeled with artist’s name, title, medium, size, retail price. Please do not send original artwork. - References
Include: Contact person, address, telephone and email address for galleries where your work is or has been shown, collectors who have commissioned and or purchased your work directly from you. - Supporting Material
Include: Marketing media such as websites, brochures and catalogues featuring your work. - Return of Goods
Include: Self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your portfolio / submission materials returned.
